## Mobile/TAK Developer ### About the role Accenture Federal Services is seeking a **Mobile/TAK (Tactical Awareness Kit) Developer** to join a constantly evolving environment where new technologies are used frequently and learning never stops. The selected candidate will **work remotely** as part of an existing team. ### What you will do - Develop and maintain **Android applications and plugins** for the **Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK)** and related **TAK ecosystem** products, under the guidance of senior developers. - Assist in integrating **Cursor-on-Target (CoT) messaging**, **mapping overlays**, and **situational awareness** features into mobile applications. - Write, test, and debug code supporting **TAK Server API** integrations. - Interact with customers and end users to understand requirements and translate them into working software features. - Have the ability to produce **customer-facing production code day one**. ### Here’s what you need - **1–3 years** of experience in: - **Native Android development** in **Java and/or Kotlin** - **Source control** such as **Git** - Exposure to **ATAK plugin development** or the broader **TAK ecosystem** (e.g., **TAK Server, CoT messaging, WinTAK/iTAK**). ### Bonus points if you have - Familiarity with **SQL** and **NoSQL** - Familiarity with **geospatial/mapping concepts** and **symbology standards** (e.g., **MIL-STD-2525**) - Use of **static analysis**, **unit testing**, and **continuous integration** - Ability to handle **more than 1 project concurrently** - Experience working within **AWS** environments for development, testing, and integration - Experience working within a **RHEL-based** (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) development environment - Exposure to **Windows desktop application development** (e.g., **C#/.NET, WPF**) outside of WinTAK - Development with **Python, Go**, or other modern OOP languages - Working in a **Linux** environment (additional details not fully provided in the source text)
