With **200,000+ developers** and **1,300+ organizations** building “Powered by Deepgram” voice products, Deepgram’s voice-native foundation models are available via cloud APIs or self-hosted/on-prem. ### About the Role Deepgram is building the next generation of **People Operations** and is looking for an **early-career engineer** to partner directly with the **Head of People**. You’ll identify, design, and build **AI-powered workflows** that fundamentally change how People Ops operates. This is **not** a role focused on maintaining an HRIS or administering traditional People systems. Instead, you’ll build the systems on top of them—turning **manual, repetitive, high-friction People processes** into **intelligent workflows** using **AI, automation, APIs, internal tools, and agents**. You’ll work across **People, Engineering, IT, and other functions** to deliver secure, scalable solutions so employees and managers can get answers and complete workflows without needing a People team member for every interaction. ### What You’ll Do - Partner with the People & Talent team to identify high-impact opportunities for **AI and automation** in People Operations - Build an **AI-first onboarding experience** that is scalable, up to date, and exceptional - Convert manual People workflows into **automated, AI-powered systems** - Build **AI agents and workflows** to answer questions, gather information, initiate processes, and complete defined actions - Integrate AI systems with existing tools, including **HRIS, Slack, recruiting, performance, compensation**, and other internal systems - Create internal tools and interfaces that make People processes easier for **employees, managers, and the People team** - Prototype quickly, test with real users, learn, and iterate - Implement **human-in-the-loop** controls, escalation paths, permissions, and safeguards for sensitive workflows - Partner with Engineering and IT on **architecture, security, access controls**, and productionizing prototypes - Measure impact (time saved, improved employee experience, and quality/consistency of People Ops) ### Notes Deepgram is aware of individuals impersonating recruiters.
