**TechOps Engineer, Senior Manager** **About Two Six Technologies** At Two Six Technologies, we build, deploy, and implement innovative products that solve the world’s most complex challenges—empowering teams and supporting customers in building a safer global future. **Overview** As a **TechOps Engineer, Senior Manager**, you will lead the development and delivery of technical training and operate and maintain the cyber range resources students use during training. You will manage a small team and turn operational and technical requirements into effective curriculum, hands-on exercises, and reliable range capabilities. This role blends training leadership with practical work across systems, virtualization, networking, and infrastructure. **Location & Travel** - Onsite role at our Two Six Technologies office in **Laurel, Maryland** - Approximately **5%** travel (customer and/or other-site) **Responsibilities** - Manage and mentor **1–2** staff or senior personnel responsible for training and cyber range activities - Develop, maintain, and deliver technical training curriculum for in-person audiences - Translate customer/mission requirements into learning objectives, course materials, exercises, and assessments - Plan and conduct training sessions, using feedback and measured learning outcomes to improve curriculum - Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the cyber range and supporting systems - Build and maintain realistic network and cyber operations scenarios using virtualization and infrastructure automation - Test and validate hardware and software solutions before integrating into training/range environments - Document operating procedures, training materials, system configurations, and recurring maintenance activities - Coordinate with customers, technical teams, and instructors to schedule, prepare, and execute training events **Qualifications** - **7+ years** experience in cyber operations, IT, systems engineering, or technical operations - **1+ year** experience developing and delivering technical training, instruction, or curriculum - Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining a cyber range (or comparable virtualized training/test environment) - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers and learners - Experience operating and troubleshooting **Linux-based systems** and virtualized environments - Working knowledge of networking fundamentals; ability to configure/troubleshoot networked systems - Familiarity with container technologies such as **Docker** and **Docker Compose** - Experience using **Ansible** for configuration management or infrastructure automation - Experience supervising/leading a small technical team (priorities, coaching) - **Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility/access (TS/SCI)** **Preferred Skills** - Experience with virtualization platforms such as **Proxmox** or **OpenStack** - **2+ years** coding/scripting in **Python** and **Bash** - Familiarity with **Infrastructure as Code** and tools such as **Terraform** and **Packer** - Datacenter operations experience (planning, installing, cabling, maintaining network/compute hardware) - Experience configuring routers/switches (e.g., **Cisco, Juniper, Aruba**) - Experience with network security monitoring tools such as **Security Onion** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience considered) **Security Clearance Requirements** - **Active Top Secret clearanc
