We leverage Cloudflare’s strengths to deliver entirely new tools and products for customers at massive scale. ### About the Team We build products that make domains **Readable**, **Discoverable**, and **Callable** for autonomous AI agents. Agentic discovery is a core part of Cloudflare’s vision for the **Agentic Internet**—helping businesses control how they’re represented and reached as AI agents change how humans and machines find, evaluate, and act on information. We build capabilities that help website owners prepare for agent interaction, test and observe how agents read content, establish open interaction standards (e.g., WebMCP), and create new channels to reach agentic audiences. ### About the Role Cloudflare is looking for an **Engineering Manager** to build and lead the engineering team across the **Agentic Discovery** portfolio. You’ll own the people, execution, and engineering quality behind customer-facing products that help businesses manage how AI agents understand, represent, and interact with their digital properties. You’ll partner closely with Product Management and engineering teams to shape priorities across **Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)**, content ingestion/indexing, agent observation and testing tools, and open tool-execution standards (such as **WebMCP** and **Generative UI**). This is a management role for someone who is deeply technically credible. You won’t be expected to write most of the code, but you should be able to understand the systems your engineers operate, challenge architectural decisions, ask the right questions when issues arise, and step into technical problems when needed. **Success is measured by** the quality and output of the team you build, the engineers you develop, and the systems and products they deliver. *Note:* This role may require flexibility to be on-call outside standard working hours to address technical issues. ### What You’ll Do - Manage, coach, and grow engineers across customer-facing Agentic Discovery products, AEO tooling, and agent-web interaction standards. - Own execution: set clear priorities, drive predictable delivery, and give engineers context and autonomy to own meaningful product areas. - Lead development of tools enabling customers to make content **Readable** (structured transformation), **Discoverable** (indexing/directories/AEO), and **Callable** (WebMCP, APIs, Generative UI) for autonomous agents. - Build tools for customers to test, observe, measure, and control how AI agents find and interact with websites and applications. - Partner with Product Management to understand customer problems, shape the roadmap, and translate opportunities into engineering outcomes. - Identify how Cloudflare’s global network and edge signals can enable unique products that help businesses reach trusted agentic audiences at scale. - Balance near-term delivery with thoughtful technical investme
