## Software Engineer, Data & Analytics Platform ### About the role Bayesian Health is a rapidly growing startup on a mission to make healthcare proactive by empowering clinicians with real-time data to save lives. You’ll help build and scale the data and analytics platform that shows how our clinical AI products are performing across every hospital we serve—shaping key technical decisions and building the infrastructure our company and clients rely on. ### What you’ll do - **Build the platform foundations:** Develop a secure, scalable data lakehouse/warehouse with pipelines that power analytics and machine learning. Improve data modeling, orchestration, data quality, and scalability as products and health systems grow. - **Enable self-serve insights with LLMs & automation:** Create tools/frameworks so Clinical, Client Success, and Product teams can get answers from data without writing queries (including reviewing/flagging clinical cases to uncover trends). - **Power performance monitoring for clinical AI:** Design pipelines and models that track KPIs and model performance across clients and clinical modules using real-time, messy, heterogeneous EHR data. - **Set the standard for analytics company-wide:** Partner with cross-functional teams to define how product success is measured and ensure the underlying data is trustworthy. ### Minimum qualifications - BS in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline. - **5+ years** building scalable, secure data/analytics infrastructure on a cloud platform (preferably **AWS**) for live products/customers. - Proficient in **Python** and **SQL**. - Deep knowledge of modern data/analytics technologies (cloud data warehouses, **dbt** or similar transformation frameworks, workflow orchestration, BI tools like **Tableau** or **QuickSight**), with strong ability to integrate with existing infrastructure. - Experience leveraging **LLMs** in distributed data processing and analytics systems. - Excellent communication and proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally (data science, product, clinical) to deliver robust technical solutions. ### Preferred qualifications - Experience handling sensitive data containing **PHI/PII** securely. - Experience building analytics technology for clinical/health data. - Comfort working in ambiguity in a startup environment. ### Equal opportunity Bayesian Health is an equal employment opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
