## Element451 — Senior Director, Integrations Element451 is the AI-first CRM and student engagement platform for higher education. We help colleges and universities manage the full student lifecycle—from first inquiry through enrollment and student success. ### The Role Integrations are the connective tissue between Element451 and the systems campuses rely on—starting with their Student Information System (SIS), and expanding over time to learning management systems and other API-based systems. We sell a **managed integration package** (Element451 scopes, builds, and maintains each institution’s integration), and we need a single owner on the delivery side. As **Senior Director, Integrations**, you will own the **entire post-sales integration lifecycle**: validating the signed SOW, architecting the integration, building it, and keeping it healthy for the life of the account. This is a **hands-on leadership** role—**not** a slide-deck position. You’ll be the senior subject-matter expert on **SIS integrations**, directing architects and engineers and pressure-testing approaches yourself. You’ll also partner closely with Product to shape what we build natively so integrations become progressively less custom over time. --- ## What You’ll Own - **SOW validation**: Own the technical handoff from Sales into Delivery. Validate feasibility and sizing early; surface gaps, risks, and missing requirements before they become escalations. - **Integration architecture & scoping**: Define reference patterns and standards (data models, sync patterns, authentication like OAuth/SAML/API keys, error handling, and how we work with **Ellucian Ethos**). Grow the IA team’s depth. - **Integration build & delivery**: Lead the integration engineering team through build, UAT, and go-live. Ensure quality, timelines, and delivery tooling/runbooks. After go-live, bidirectional sync runs as **Dagster jobs** (cron + event-driven sensors) over the Ethos API. - **Flat-file & one-off integrations**: Own lower-volume, more custom integrations such as SFTP-delivered CSV/fixed-width files, application-source feeds (e.g., Common App), and bespoke one-offs (e.g., syncing application data into another CRM). - **Care & maintenance**: Own operational lifecycle after go-live—sync health/monitoring, versioning as vendor APIs change, and enhancements. Serve as the senior escalation point when integrations break. - **Live support**: Own the chat-based Live Support experience—staffing, quality, response standards, and the feedback loop from support into build and architecture. - **Delivery execution (people/process/tools)**: Set the operating model, hire and develop the team, define process from handoff through maintenance, and choose tooling to scale reliably. Accountable for delivery outcomes (quality, reliability, throughput). - **Product partnership**: Partner with Product/Engineering to shape native integrations and configurable capabilities that reduce custom work over time. - **Integrations strategy input**: Help shape Element451’s broader integrations strategy beyond SIS (including LMS and a “Bring Your Own Integrations” model). Bring delivery reality to feasibility and investment decisions. - **Measurement**: Define and report KPIs such as time-to-integrate, on-time delivery vs. SOW, sync reliability/uptime, escalation/support volume, and resolution time. - **Escalation support**: Provide situational support for customer escalations. --- ## Who You Are - **Deep, ha
