Learn more: https://www.shield.ai ## Role: Simulation Framework Lead (R6397) As the **Simulation Framework Lead**, you will lead and mentor a team of **simulation framework engineers** responsible for building, extending, and maintaining the **modeling and simulation (M&S) interface layers** between core autonomy and multiple simulation backends, including: - NGTS - AFSIM - Aechelon - HMSSimBlocks - HMSF ### What you’ll do - **Own and evolve the simulation framework**: Provide the framework, plugins, interfaces, and technical troubleshooting to resolve simulation-software integration issues. - **Partner with integration teams**: Support program-level software integration by enabling reliable simulation backend connectivity. - **Drive the strategic simulation roadmap** for **Hivemind Solutions**. - **Support current programs** relying on **HMSSimBlocks** while partnering closely with **Hivemind Platform (HMP)** during the transition to the **new Hivemind Simulation Framework (HMSF)**. - **Advocate for HMS program requirements**: Drive feature inputs into HMP’s HMSF product roadmap. - **Plan and execute migration**: Lay out a clear, phased migration path from **HMSSimBlocks → HMSF** across all HMS portfolios.
