**Anduril Industries — Test Automation Engineer (Manufacturing Test, Intelligence Systems)** ## About the Job As a **Test Automation Engineer** in the **Manufacturing Test** organization, you’ll join a software development team focused on ensuring Anduril builds high-quality products across **land, sea, and air**. You’ll work with test executive software to systematically test products and generate analytics to improve the development cycle. You’ll champion automation to reduce operator time and instruction complexity using **parallel execution**, **data acquisition**, and **automated deployment tools**. You’ll tackle complex, multiplatform problems with heavy reliance on **cloud data systems**, continuously improving automation methods, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics. **Location note:** This role is temporarily based in **Santa Ana, CA** for a **3-month training period**, then transitions to **Ashville, OH**. ## What You’ll Do - Develop applications for **Windows** and **Linux** desktop environments. - Integrate **cloud data** and **deployment** features while maintaining **user authentication** and **security**. - Generate **automation scripts (Python)** for debugging and prototyping. - Triage issues, identify **root causes**, and coordinate next steps. - Partner with end-users to turn needs into features while balancing **user experience** with engineering constraints. ## Required Qualifications - **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. - **5+ years** of relevant industry experience. - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active **U.S. Secret security clearance**. ## Preferred Qualifications - **8+ years** of relevant industry experience. - Expertise in software development with **Python**. - Experience integrating/developing low-level code and **device libraries/drivers**. - Experience with **CI/CD** and delivering **DevOps automation** for app deployment and testing. - Experience on multi-disciplinary projects with **Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineers**. - Experience with automated **unit, integration, and system-level testing**. - Expertise in **git**. - Experience in **manufacturing/industrial software**. - Understanding device communication protocols such as **USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet**, etc. - Expertise in desktop application development with **WPF** and **C#**. - Experience in **embedded systems**. - Experience with automated testing for **non-software products**. - Proficient in **RESTful services** in **AWS/Azure** infrastructure. - Hands-on knowledge of a major relational database (**DB2, SQL Server**, etc.) and/or **NoSQL**. - Pursuing a **Master’s** in Computer Science or related field. - Experience with test automation or cloud deployment tools. - Currently possesses and can maintain an active **U.S. Secret security clearance**. ## Compensation **US Salary Range:** **$144,000 – $192,000 (USD)** ## Benefits Anduril offers a comprehensive, competitive benefits package (available at little to no cost to employees).
