**AI Operations Engineer — Robinhood (Corporate Engineering)** Join a team building the next generation of enterprise AI infrastructure—making AI capabilities reliable, secure, and accessible across the company. **About the role** As an AI Operations Engineer, you’ll support, maintain, and improve the AI platforms and infrastructure used by teams across Robinhood. You’ll work hands-on with LLM integrations, automation, monitoring, and production systems—partnering with engineers and internal users to troubleshoot issues and build solutions that make AI more reliable and easier to use. **Location / Schedule** Based in **Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; or Bellevue, WA**. **In-person attendance at least 3 days/week**. **What you’ll do** - Build internal tooling, automation, and self-service solutions to streamline AI operations and reduce manual intervention - Support and maintain enterprise AI platforms/infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments - Troubleshoot issues involving **LLM integrations, APIs, model behavior, and system performance** - Support enterprise LLM integrations (e.g., **Anthropic Claude** and **Google Gemini**) including monitoring usage, token consumption, performance, and reliability - Implement and maintain monitoring/observability and deployment workflows for AI systems - Collaborate with Product, Software Engineering, Business Systems, and AI Strategy to improve reliability and usability **What you bring** - Experience in IT Operations, SRE, or AI infrastructure/support with a track record operating complex production systems - Practical experience with AI platforms/LLM integrations or AI-powered applications (e.g., Claude, Gemini, or similar) - Linux administration experience; scripting/automation with **Python** and/or **Bash** - Familiarity with infrastructure/config/orchestration tools (e.g., **Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Kubernetes**) - Experience troubleshooting production systems and working with monitoring/observability tools - Strong problem-solving and clear technical communication - **Bonus:** GPU infrastructure, AI workload orchestration, vector databases, RAG, agentic frameworks, or hybrid cloud **Compensation (Base Pay Range)** - **Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC):** $132,000–$155,000 USD - **Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL):** $116,000–$136,000 USD - **Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL):** $103,000–$121,000 USD Base pay may be supplemented by **bonus opportunities + equity + benefits**. **Apply / Learn more** For Total Rewards details: https://careers.robinhood.com/benefits *AI Usage Disclosure:* Robinhood uses AI tools to support parts of the recruiting process; hiring decisions are made by hiring teams.
