Our award-winning products help our global community gain deeper knowledge of readiness, activity, and sleep quality through the Oura Ring and its connected app. ## Role: Senior Business Systems Engineer (NetSuite) We’re looking for a **Senior Business Systems Engineer** to join our growing **Business Systems** team. This is a **hands-on development** role focused on raising the bar on the **quality and scalability** of our custom solutions within our **NetSuite** environment. You’ll partner closely with internal Business Analysts in **Finance** and **Supply Chain** to deliver solutions that enable new core business capabilities. You’ll be expected to look for **systemic, root-cause fixes**—not just quick patches. **Location:** Remote role based in the US. --- ## What You Will Do - Define, document, and execute NetSuite development tasks in an agile process managed in **Atlassian Jira**. - Deliver high-quality **SuiteScript** code and designs following software best practices, with a bias toward **root-cause** solutions. - Build **unit, integration, and regression test** coverage for critical customizations and integrations, and help establish a team-wide **Definition of Done** that includes testing. - Use **AI-assisted/agentic development tools** to accelerate SuiteScript, integration, and test development—while applying **design-first practices** (specs, architecture docs, constraints) so outputs are consistent, reviewable, and maintainable. - Help define standards for when/how AI-assisted changes ship, including change-management evidence required for **SOX/ITGC controls**. - Contribute reusable context such as **architecture decision records**, **coding standards**, and **integration documentation**. - Partner with the NetSuite Administrator to audit and govern platform configuration (roles, permissions, workflows, bundle usage) to prevent untracked technical debt. - Develop, architect, and support scalable integrations between NetSuite and other business systems. - Collaborate with NetSuite business users across **Supply Chain & Logistics**, **Financial Systems**, and **Member Experience** to translate requirements into durable solutions. --- ## What You’ll Bring - **6+ years** total professional experience as a business systems engineer/developer or similar technical role. - **4+ years** NetSuite development and/or administration experience. - Experience working in **Agile** methodologies and task management systems. - Hands-on experience across NetSuite script types (e.g., **User Event, Client, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet**). - Experience writing **automated tests** in any language/framework. - Day-to-day experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., **Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot**) with strong judgment about when to trust, verify, or reject AI output. - Understanding of core business processes and best practices (e.g., **Order to Cash, Procure to Pay**) and basic accounting principles. - Extensive integration experience (iPaaS, API, or point-to-point) with understanding of system authentication methods. - Comfort working within NetSuite configuration/admin (roles, permissions, saved searches) to partner effectively with a dedicated Administrator. - Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and excellent communication/collaboration skills—including the judgment to push back on scope/timeline when needed. --- ## Benefits (
