## Zscaler — Director, Professional Services & Consulting (Public Sector) ### About the role Zscaler accelerates digital transformation with the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange—an AI-native, in-line cloud security platform that helps protect customers from cyberattacks and data loss. In this role, you will lead and scale Zscaler’s mission-critical Professional Services delivery practice across **US Federal**, including **Department of Defense (DoD)**, **Intelligence Community (IC)**, and **State, Local, and Education (SLED)** customers. Reporting to Customer Success & Professional Services leadership, you will direct a high-performing organization of **technical architects, engagement managers, and deployment consultants**. You will drive service delivery excellence, **accelerated time-to-value**, **services P&L management**, partner enablement, and alignment with federal Zero Trust modernization mandates including **OMB M-22-09** and **NIST SP 800-207**. ### Role expectations - Lead, mentor, and expand a specialized team of delivery consultants, project managers, and resident engineers supporting mission-critical public sector deployments - Oversee complex Zero Trust platform rollouts across federal civilian, defense, intelligence, and SLED agencies—ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and meets mission requirements - Manage regional capacity planning, resource utilization, billable margin, and backlog retirement; partner with FP&A and Operations to forecast revenue and headcount - Serve as the senior escalation point for public sector customer leadership and strategic Federal System Integrators (FSIs) - Align delivery methodologies with **FedRAMP High**, **DoD IL5**, **CJIS**, and Zero Trust standards; collaborate with systems integrators to scale ecosystem delivery capacity and quality ### Success profile - Act like an owner: accountable for mission outcomes and delivery excellence across strategic planning and operational execution - Customer-obsessed: empathy for agency missions and a focus on solving real-world security challenges - High-trust collaborator: foster open, transparent communication and candid feedback across matrixed teams - Champion simplicity: translate complex architectural and regulatory challenges into clear roadmaps and high-velocity execution - Thrive in dynamic environments: lead with composure, agility, and decisiveness through procurement cycles and organizational change ### Minimum qualifications - Demonstrated ability to leverage modern AI tools/technologies to improve workflow efficiency, delivery execution, and operational productivity - **10+ years** leading and scaling Professional Services, Technical Consulting, or Customer Delivery organizations in enterprise software, cloud networking, or cybersecurity - **5+ years** direct people-management experience - Proven track record managing professional services delivery **P&Ls**, utilization, margins, and capacity models with **$15M+** annual services run-rate - In-depth understanding of the US Public Sector landscape, including federal procurement nuances, prime/subcontractor ecosystems, and compliance standards (e.g., **FedRAMP**, **NIST SP 800-53/207**, **DoD SRG**) - **US Citizenship required** with an active **US Government Top Secret** security clearance (or active within the past 24 months) ### Preferred qualifications - Experience implementing AI-driven delivery frameworks, predictive analytics, or automation to optimize professional ser
