Backed by leading technology investors, the company is committed to exceptional quality, research, design, and innovation. **ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES** - Work on the AI Software Team across global software infrastructure, including: - E-commerce frontend & backend - Connected device application integrations - Enterprise application integrations - Third-party logistics integrations - Access controls & regulatory compliance - Customer service and other supported infrastructure - Own development and release to production for assigned work - Investigate and resolve production issues in a timely manner - Participate in regular team meeting cadences to drive clarity and planning - Build expertise in Ruby, Rails, TypeScript, and NextJS as needed - Collaborate with development leads, software engineers, and product managers to deliver work and shape the roadmap **PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS** - Commitment to continuous improvement - Proven ability to ship complex components and web application systems - Experience building and designing APIs - Deep understanding of web application reliability, performance, scalability, and error handling - Experience leading and/or mentoring engineers - Expert knowledge or willingness to learn: HTML/CSS/JavaScript, React/NextJS, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Redis, Docker, AWS + Terraform or Pulumi, Vercel - Minimum 3 years of experience preferred **EDUCATION** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experience in web application development **JUUL LABS PERKS & BENEFITS** - Career growth and support to set and exceed big goals - Work with talented, committed, supportive teammates - Equity and performance bonuses (every employee is a stakeholder) - Cell phone subsidy, commuter benefits, and discounts on JUUL products - Excellent medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, plus family support, wellness, legal, and employee assistance program benefits - 401(k) plan with company matching - Biannual discretionary performance bonuses **SALARY RANGE** - $127,000 — $159,000 USD *Juul Labs is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
