Recently, DOSS raised a **$55M Series B** (https://www.doss.com/news/doss-raises-55m-series-b). --- ## About the Role (Forward Deployed Services) Doss’s **Forward Deployed Services (FDS)** team is the core engine of DOSS and the success of our customers. The **Portfolio Manager** sits at the intersection of product, data, operations, implementation, and customer partnership. This is a **player-coach** role: you’ll lead a team of **Forward Deployed Product Manager (FDPM) ICs** while staying deeply hands-on. You’ll own a portfolio of Doss’s most complex, high-value client relationships and lead your team through the full **post-sales lifecycle**: - **Discovery:** partner with client leadership to analyze operational and financial workflows (goods, information, money) - **Product Design:** data model, workflows, and integrations - **Build/Configure:** on the DOSS platform - **UAT & Go-live** **Location:** Open to hiring across the US, with current prioritization for **Denver, CO**. --- ## What You’ll Do - Lead a team of FDPMs across a portfolio of upper mid-market and enterprise clients (accountable for team output, client outcomes, and development) - Stay hands-on across the end-to-end post-sales lifecycle (discovery → design → implementation → go-live) - Own the success of Doss’s most complex client relationships - Conduct and lead cross-functional deep dives to map end-to-end business processes and workflows - Drive and contribute to new product capabilities supporting Doss’s push into upper mid-market and enterprise - Set the standard for best-in-class practices and processes across the team (build what doesn’t exist, improve what does) - Translate process flows into product design and configuration within the DOSS platform - Partner with technical teams on integrations and data migrations - Lead portfolio through UAT, training, and go-live support; build relationships that drive retention and expansion - Coach FDPMs on client management, problem-solving frameworks, and delivery quality; create feedback loops that accelerate growth - Drive automation and AI-forward improvements to Doss’s product and customer lifecycle processes --- ## What We’re Looking For - **8+ years** experience in engineering, consulting, finance, operations, product operations, or technical program management, including time as a people manager - **ERP Implementation Leadership:** managed a team through an ERP implementation (scoping, configuration, data migration, go-live). Strongly preferred (or equivalent complex B2B software/professional services delivery) - **Systems Thinker:** can traverse and untangle interconnected people/process/technology systems - **Player-Coach Mentality:** leads by doing—models the work and holds the bar - **High-Intensity experience:** thrived in high-pressure environments (startups/consulting/finance) - **Technical from first principles:** can reason through hard engineering/logic problems - **Intellectual firepower:** cuts through noise, synthesizes fast, makes go
