You’ll help architect mission autonomy and mesh networking, delivering scalable hardware solutions for urgent national security needs—working closely with teams in **Perception, AI, Motion Planning, Hardware, Test Engineering, Space, Networking, and Vehicle hardware**. **About the Job** Discovery is looking for a seasoned infrastructure engineer to build robust **compute infrastructure for scalable machine learning operations**. As a Software Engineer on the team, you’ll tackle challenges across **networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and more**, ensuring seamless integration of Anduril products. You’ll work on a fast-paced team with opportunities to see your work operating in fielded deployment environments. Above all, you’ll embody a **“Whatever It Takes”** mindset—executing tasks expediently, scalably, and pragmatically while prioritizing the mission. You’ll make sound engineering decisions to deliver high-quality outcomes on time, and you’ll work directly with customers to deploy software. **What You’ll Do** - Stand up infrastructure, simulation solutions, and integrations for **agent development** - Manage **Infrastructure-as-Code** at scale for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid deployments - Create capabilities for multiple customers with heavy **training and validation** workloads - Build applications to productize and democratize scalable machine learning at Anduril - Collaborate with customers, product designers, researchers, and engineering teams to shape and build software products and applications optimized for end-user value **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a related technical discipline - 3+ years working with programming languages such as **Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript**, etc. - Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis - Hands-on experience with **Docker**, containerized applications, deploying/scaling services on **Kubernetes**, and configuring **CI/CD** pipelines - Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases - Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience creating and running ML infrastructure for post-training (e.g., supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning) - Expertise in virtualization and containerization technologies - Experience designing, developing, and deploying **SITL/HITL** simulation infrastructure for complex systems **Compensation (US Salary Range)** **$191,000 – $254,000 USD** (base salary estimate; equity and benefits may be included depending on offer) **Benefits** Anduril offers a comprehensive, competitive benefits package (available at little to no cost to employees), supporting health, recovery,
