**Director of Blueprint Technical Activation** **Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human** Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. ## About the role Enterprise AI environments are complex—customers deploy agents across AWS, Microsoft, Salesforce, and more, while connecting them to security, data, and business systems from a growing ecosystem. This role owns the **technical integration layer** that makes secure AI adoption possible. You’ll work directly with customers to identify integration blockers, determine what needs to be built, and drive solutions from customer need to production. You’ll partner across Okta Product and Engineering, FDE, Professional Services, and technology partners to solve complex integration challenges—and turn repeatable customer solutions into product. You are the technical counterpart to the GTM/Activation leader: they drive the program, field adoption, and partner activation, while **you own the technical architecture, integration strategy, and execution**. ## What you’ll own ### Identify and prioritize customer needs - Work with O4AA customers and technical teams to identify integration challenges blocking deployment, adoption, security, or scale. - Maintain a prioritized integration backlog based on customer demand, revenue impact, strategic importance, and repeatability. - Serve as the technical escalation point for complex integration challenges. ### Solve and scale integrations - Design and build integrations when Okta’s existing products don’t fully address customer needs. - Collaborate with customer architects, engineers, FDEs, and Professional Services during complex implementations. - Create reusable reference architectures, code, configurations, and technical patterns. - Convert one-off solutions into repeatable capabilities that can be scaled through field, partners, and services teams. ### Turn customer needs into product - Partner with ORD Integrations and Okta Product teams to translate customer requirements into product. - Build the business and technical case for roadmap changes using customer evidence. - Identify recurring integration needs that should become supported Okta capabilities. - Close the loop: **customer → solution → product requirement → shipped capability**. ### Build the technical ecosystem - Work with strategic technology partners across cloud, business applications, security, and AI platforms. - Develop and validate joint architectures and integrations that solve real customer problems. - Enable partner engineering teams, FDEs, Professional Services, and the field to deploy repeatable solutions. - Provide the technical proof behind customer stories, demos, and partner launches. ## What you’ll bring - **10+ years** in solutions architecture, integration engineering, partner engineering, field engineering, or technical leadership across enterprise security, identity, cloud, or SaaS. - Experience leading complex technical programs across customers, engineering, product, and technology partners. - Hands-on technical depth—you can design, build, review, and troubleshoot integrations. - Deep understanding of identity and security. ## Compensation (base salary) - **San Francisco Bay area:** $232,000–$290,000 USD - **California (excluding SF Bay), Colorado, Illinois, New York, Washington:** $207,000–$259,000 USD Okta also offers equity (whe
