You’re comfortable working independently across **architecture, design, and implementation** in a fast-evolving environment. --- ### What you will be doing - Design, implement, test, and deploy software components with consistent high-quality output through **continuous integration**, **automated testing**, and **code reviews**. - Create local and distributed control/management subsystems for **power modules**, **vehicle communications**, and **user interfaces**. - Work on platform software including **Linux BSP**, **Linux kernel**, **diagnostics**, and communication interfaces such as **CAN**, **RS-232/485**, **I2C**, **SPI**, **Modbus**, and **PPP**. - Support **real-time cloud management** and **remote administration**. - Build and support **wireless networking** solutions including **LTE**, **Wi-Fi**, and **BLE**. - Collaborate cross-functionally and globally with hardware and cloud engineering teams to define **specifications**, **features**, and **APIs**. - Participate in design/code reviews and mentor other team members. --- ### Requirements - B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E in **Computer Science/Electronics Engineering** or equivalent. - **7–11 years** of experience developing embedded system products using **C++** and **Python** in a **Linux** environment. - Proven ability to make critical **system-level design decisions** and drive projects end-to-end with minimal supervision. - Knowledge of **Linux BSP** platform development: **kernel**, **device drivers**, **file systems** (ext4, UBIFS, JFFS2), and system software. - Understanding of **asynchronous event-driven architecture** and building scalable, latency-optimized distributed services in a **mesh network**. - Familiarity with **Buildroot**, **GCC**, toolchain, **Make**, **CMake**, **git**, **gdb**, and **core dumps**. - Experience with connectivity architecture using wireless (cellular, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, NFC) and wired (Ethernet) is a plus. --- ### Location **Gurgaon, India** --- ### Equal Opportunity ChargePoint is committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
