Trusted by leading carriers, MGAs, TPAs, and self-insured employers, Gradient AI has grown rapidly since 2018 and is backed by **$56M Series C**. **About the Role** We’re looking for a **Technical Operations Manager** to support a team responsible for maintaining critical applications and infrastructure. You’ll define a vision and strategy for operational excellence in a fast-growth environment. **How You’ll Make an Impact** - Oversee TechOps, including major IT initiatives and internal/external helpdesks - Partner with DevOps to deploy, maintain, and manage high-availability cloud applications, databases, and IT infrastructure using best practices and industry standards - Partner with SecOps to continuously mature and implement our security posture - Create tools for system health monitoring, SLA compliance, and alerting/notifications - Establish and maintain metrics to assess team bandwidth - Evolve processes for incident management, escalation, and reporting - Maintain staff coverage for SLAs and required response times **Skills Needed to Succeed** - **7+ years** managing applications and IT infrastructure; **2+ years** managing high-performing teams - Ability to balance long-term strategy with short-term goals - Experience implementing effective monitoring and logging for SaaS cloud environments to ensure secure, compliant infrastructure - Strong communication across functions and levels (including senior leadership, Engineering, DevOps, and Client Experience) - Demonstrated leadership skills: supervise, grow, and mentor team members - **3+ years** with most of the tools in our tech stack: - macOS & Windows 11 administration - Jamf / Intune - Okta identity management - Microsoft 365 suite - Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) - FreshService ticket management - TCP/IP networking **What We Offer** - Fun, team-oriented startup culture - Generous stock options - Unlimited vacation days - Flexible schedule with support for working from home - Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more) - Ample opportunities to learn and take on new responsibilities **Compensation** - **Salary Range:** $130,000–$155,000 base salary annually - Eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity grant, and comprehensive benefits package - Compensation may vary based on level, experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
