More than 1,500 firms in 60 countries use Addepar to manage and advise on nearly $10 trillion in assets. **The Role** Addepar is seeking a **Senior AI Engineer** to join the **AI Platform** team. The team focuses on enabling and building disruptive, innovative solutions to transform the wealth technology landscape with AI across the product suite. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will architect, lead, and drive execution of core AI capabilities that power the platform—owning end-to-end delivery of AI-native products and ensuring cutting-edge AI systems are hardened into robust, scalable, high-performance production systems. **What You’ll Do** - Drive end-to-end execution and delivery of AI-native products, from prototype to scalable production services with high velocity - Architect, build, and productionize core components of the AI platform, including: - LLMs and the surrounding ecosystem (e.g., vector DBs, prompt tuning, etc.) - Agentic frameworks - Core agent capabilities like MCP / cross-platform tool use, web browsing, and computer use - Enforce technical discipline and operational excellence for AI products - Rapidly iterate based on performance metrics and user feedback - Lead evaluation and adoption of new AI technologies and frameworks to stay on the frontier - Partner with product managers and other engineering teams to translate strategic goals into technical realities **Who You Are** - 3–6+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering; expertise with Python, Golang, gRPC, AWS, and Kubernetes - Proven track record of owning and shipping complex, production-grade systems - Experience shipping and maintaining AI-native products/features (or strong personal projects demonstrating AI passion) - Deep ownership mindset and a drive to raise the bar for execution - Bias for action—passion for shipping quickly and iterating with feedback - BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field (or equivalent experience) - **Preferred:** Specific experience with LLMs and agentic systems - **Preferred:** Hands-on experience with modern AI/LLM ecosystem tools (e.g., Databricks, LangChain, MLflow) - **Preferred:** Advanced understanding of the probabilistic systems underpinning modern LLMs - **Preferred:** Experience building AI products in accuracy-sensitive domains such as finance **Work Authorization (US)** Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on the first day of employment). **Compensation (Base Salary Range)** - **$188,000 — $235,000 USD** - Compensation includes base salary + bonus + equity + benefits. **Our Values** - **Act Like an Owner** - **Build Together** - **Champion Our Clients** - **Drive Innovation** - **Embrace Learning** Addepar is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to inclusion and belonging.
