## Frontend Engineer (Founding Team) **Location:** San Francisco Bay Area **Type:** Full-Time **Compensation:** Competitive salary + meaningful equity (founding tier) Backed by **8VC**, we’re building a world-class team to tackle one of the industry’s most critical infrastructure problems. --- ## About the Role We’re building an **AI-native data platform** designed to simplify complex workflows in deep industrial use cases. You’ll work directly with the founding team to shape and ship intuitive UIs across: - Multi-tenant analytics visualizations - Agent interfaces - Workflow tools This is an **early-stage, high-autonomy** role where you’ll help define foundational UX patterns and the design language of a next-generation SaaS platform. --- ## Responsibilities - Design and build **scalable, performant, accessible** frontend components using **React** and **Next.js** - Create intuitive, minimal UX for complex backend + AI workflows (dashboards, agents, approval flows, multi-tenant admin panels) - Collaborate with backend and data teams to visualize dynamic, high-dimensional data, including: - Time series - Lineage - Vector search - Agent memory - Contribute to **design systems**, component libraries, and shared patterns - Ship quickly and iterate—from low-fidelity prototypes to responsive, production-ready code --- ## What We’re Looking For ### Experience - **3–7 years** as a frontend or full stack engineer - Proficient in **React, TypeScript, Next.js, TailwindCSS** (or equivalent) - Familiar with AI agentic stacks (e.g., **LangChain**, model APIs, model/agent interfaces) — **big plus** - Comfortable integrating with **REST/GraphQL**, streaming endpoints, and real-time data - Experience building or contributing to complex dashboards or admin panels - Knowledge of **web accessibility**, responsive design, and UX performance best practices ### Mindset & Craft - You prioritize **clarity over flashiness** - You enjoy simplifying complexity with elegant, maintainable interfaces - You value clean abstractions and reusable components over short-term hacks - You want to build tools that solve hard problems for real users - You care about visual storytelling, agent interfaces, and helping users trust AI outputs --- ## Bonus Experience - B2B platforms, data-intensive applications, or industrial/logistics tooling - Charting experience (e.g., **Vega**, **Flourish**, **React ReCharts**, **D3.js**) - Slack app integrations, Excel/Docs plugins, or workflow UX - Multi-tenant design patterns, granular **RBAC**, or policy-based controls - Additional AI agentic stack experience (e.g., LangChain, model APIs, agent interfaces) --- ## Why Join - Early ownership in a technical product with long-term upside - Opportunity to define how users interact with complex data and intelligent agents - Founding team that treats **design as first-class** - Ship features fast in a low-process, high-trust environment - Work on AI-native tooling that blends backend intelligence with frontend usability If you want to help shape the interface layer of the next generation of intelligent systems—and believe design is a core enabler of AI trust, clarity, and effectiveness—we’d love to hear from you.
