Backed by **Redpoint Ventures** and **Greylock Partners**, and founded by early Abnormal Security team members, Fable is experiencing explosive growth. --- ## What You’ll Do - Design and build the **backend systems and data models** that power Fable’s product - Own features end-to-end (including frontend work when needed) - Collaborate with design and product to turn ideas into **customer-ready experiences** - Engage with early users, learn from feedback, and iterate quickly - Contribute to a strong engineering culture through **code reviews, shared ownership, and mentorship** - Ship production-grade code quickly and thoughtfully—balancing **quality and speed** --- ## Who You Are - **3–5 years** of experience building and shipping full-stack or backend-heavy applications - Strong fluency with **Django** (or similar frameworks) and backend fundamentals - API design, data modeling, persistence, and hands-on **Postgres** experience (schema design, query performance) - Experience building frontend interfaces (ideally **React** or **Next.js**) - Familiar with **TypeScript** and **GraphQL** (or excited to grow into them) - Proven ability to take features from concept to production independently - **Customer-obsessed**—you care that your work solves real problems for real users - Thoughtful about system design and data integrity; ask good product questions - Thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments; continuously raise the bar --- ## You Might Be a Great Fit If… You’ve built production features in a fast-moving environment, love sweating the details of user experience, and take pride in solving real-world customer problems. --- ## How We Work - Work from our **San Francisco office three days a week** - Emphasis on mutual trust, high execution, and delivering differentiated product experiences - Prioritize impact—every team member plays a key role in shaping success --- ## Apply Now Join us in reinventing cybersecurity with **AI and data science**.
