## Anduril Industries — Site Reliability Engineer (Edge Devices) ### About the Team The Counter Intrusion MSE team develops force-protection systems that monitor the perimeter of secure areas—on land or at sea—for approaching people, vehicles, and vessels. By leveraging advanced sensor fusion and autonomy, the team helps render activity into Lattice’s common operating picture, reducing operator burden and enabling customers to do more with fewer personnel. The team also works to bring customers’ existing legacy security systems into the Lattice ecosystem, focusing on scalable software solutions that avoid bespoke development for each customer. Responsibilities include development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of the system family, in close collaboration with product, engineering, sales, logistics, operations, and mission success. ### About the Job Anduril is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the team in **Irvine, CA**. In this role, you’ll build tooling and infrastructure to manage a growing fleet of autonomous Sentry towers. Your work directly impacts the reliability and uptime of deployed systems in harsh, remote locations—helping detect problems early, diagnose issues remotely, and convert repeat incidents into automation, runbooks, and product fixes. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams across customer support, field operations, software and hardware engineering, and quality & reliability. ### What You’ll Do - Build systems to monitor **Sentry tower fleet health** (dashboards, alerts, telemetry) - Remotely diagnose issues across the stack: **compute, software services, firmware, sensors/cameras, power controllers, and connectivity** - Perform **root-cause analysis** on incidents - Develop automations to reduce manual toil (e.g., safe rollout tooling for config and software updates across the fleet) - Plan and run **staged rollouts** for software, firmware, and configuration - Review incident trends to identify recurring failure modes and process gaps; write/maintain **runbooks and troubleshooting guides** *(Additional responsibilities were present in the source text but were truncated in the provided input.)*
