## What The Role Is Reporting to the Manager, Operations IT, the **Senior IT Systems Specialist** designs, implements, administers, and supports Clearway’s Operational IT systems. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to enhance existing systems and contribute to the team and organization’s continuous improvement objectives. This is a **hybrid** role located in the **Scottsdale, AZ** office. If you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications but see yourself contributing, please submit your resume. --- ## What You’ll Be Doing - Participate in the implementation of technical solutions for Business Operations - Coordinate to identify, prioritize, and manage Operations IT projects and technology tasks - Develop procedures, processes, and applications necessary to provide safe and secure operations systems that meet reliability and regulatory standards - Proactively recognize and document business process gaps, propose and implement improvements - Provide support for System Operators and Generation Dispatch, and Power Marketing personnel - Apply appropriate project and development methodology and follow project/development standards - Minimize and manage exposure and risk on project and production tasks - Maintain appropriate status reports and meeting minutes; follow up with business partners, vendors, and internal resources --- ## What You’ll Bring - **Bachelor’s degree** in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Power Systems Engineering (required) - **3+ years** systems and applications development, configuration, implementation, and support (required) - **3+ years** experience with a range of software development technologies (required) - **3+ years** experience with power systems-related applications in power generation or distribution (required) - **3+ years** experience with **SCADA/EMS/GMS** systems (e.g., ABB Ranger/Network Manager, OSI Monarch) (required) - Knowledge of interfaces, integrations, and process flows - Solid understanding of **SDLC** and experience adopting multiple project management methodologies - Intermediate skills implementing/supporting/enhancing/maintaining complex, large-scale production-critical applications in **Cloud and data center-hosted** environments - Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills with strong customer interaction and service focus - Motivated self-starter who can operate with little direction/monitoring - Ability to deliver quality solutions within restricted timelines while communicating/escalating risks, issues, or constraints - Ability to elicit cooperation from upper management, business partners, and other departments - Strong prioritization skills in a high-pressure environment - Ability to read different communication styles and adjust delivery accordingly --- ## What Would Be Nice - **Master’s degree** (preferred) --- ## Additional Notes - **No visa sponsorship or employment authorization sponsorship** is available for this role, now or in the future. - **#LI-Hybrid** --- ## Salary / Bonus (U.S. Range) - **$110,000 – $120,000 USD** (salary range across all U.S. locations) - Eligible for an **annual cash bonus** based on personal and company performance goals. --- ## About Clearway Energy Group Clearway Energy Group is leading the transition to a world powered by clean energy, with a portfolio of approximately **11.6 GW** of gross generating capacity across **26 states** (including wind, solar, battery storage, and conventional dispatchable
