Senior Manager, Salesforce Architecture
Datacor · Remote - US
About this role
**About Datacor** Datacor is the leading provider of software solutions—including ERP, CRM, Asset Tracking, Simulation and Formulation—for the process manufacturing space. We’re on a mission to better equip the industry with software solutions by building thoughtful, intuitive products that solve our customers’ most difficult problems. We help customers use data as a competitive advantage and make products that extend and sustain lives—more safely, cost-effectively, and efficiently. **The Role (Senior Manager, Salesforce Architecture)** Datacor is hiring a **Senior Manager, Salesforce Architecture** to lead the team that runs our Salesforce platform and set its direction. You’ll spend most of your time leading people, setting strategy, and managing stakeholders—while also having enough **Salesforce CPQ** and hands-on depth to review designs and make sound technical calls. Salesforce is the system of record for how Datacor sells, services, and renews across a growing portfolio of business units. Since Datacor grows through acquisition, onboarding acquired businesses onto our platform is a core part of this role. You will report to the **CISO** and lead a team of Salesforce administrators and external partners. **Platform Scope** Our platform runs **Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud portals** (for customers and partners), **Agentforce**, and a meaningful body of custom development. It supports multiple entities in one org, with revenue-critical integrations. **Key Responsibilities** **Team Leadership and Strategy** - Lead, develop, and retain a team of Salesforce administrators and external partners; grow the team as the platform grows. - Manage the team directly (one-on-ones, goal setting, performance reviews, and career development plans). - Own a multi-year Salesforce roadmap with the CISO, tying platform investment to business outcomes and company strategy. - Own intake, prioritization, and capacity planning; negotiate scope with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations; make trade-offs explicit and say no when needed. - Set the team’s ways of working (intake, estimation, documentation, peer review, and definition of done). - Represent the Salesforce team to executives, reporting on roadmap, progress, risk, and resourcing needs. - Manage implementation partners, contractors, and Salesforce account/support teams; hold external delivery to the same standards as internal work. - Raise the team’s skills through coaching, design review, and pairing (not by absorbing the work yourself). **Acquisition Integration** - Lead onboarding of acquired companies and new business units onto our Salesforce org.
