## Software Engineer, Applied AI / Product ### About the team We help physicians achieve independence by making it easier to start, operate, and grow their practices. Our team spans technologists, physicians, engineers, and designers. ### The role We’re building an **agentic platform** at the intersection of **medicine and law**, transforming complex, high-stakes casework into **structured, actionable context**. As a Software Engineer, you’ll work across the full stack: - **Agent architectures** - **Evals** (evaluation frameworks) - The **data and context** that feed agents - **User-facing surfaces** and tooling to interact with the platform In a typical week, you might: - Build and ship a workflow that takes over a step in the case process (based on signals from physicians or ops) - Design the **eval framework** that determines whether an agent’s output is reliable enough to ship - Pipe feedback into a synthesized knowledge base to improve how the platform ingests, indexes, and assembles case context - Add tooling and improve interfaces users interact with day-to-day - Iterate quickly with direct user input, refining agents based on real-world usage and feedback - Establish patterns and tooling for **AI-native development** across the team ### What you’ll bring - You engineer for **correctness and reliability**, not just functionality - You care deeply about **frontier models** *and* the **evals and guardrails** around them - You can ship **high-quality code fast** - You can take a **vague problem** and turn it into a shipped solution without a detailed spec - You can own problems **end-to-end** (from agent logic to the interface users actually use) - You care about craft and the gap between “works” and “genuinely good to use” - You’re interested in **long-term games** with long-term people (we’re building for a **30-year horizon**) ### Traction / PMF - Strong product-market fit: **$10MM+ ARR in under 14 months** - Profitable and funded by top-tier VCs in healthcare - Looking for a generalist to help scale to **hundreds of customers** ### Fit check You’ll likely thrive if you want to take ownership of a product, codebase, or company from **1→100**.
