About this role
**Dark Wolf Solutions** is seeking a **Cybersecurity Engineer** to lead and execute the security authorization process for our systems and applications in compliance with **NIST** guidelines and **DoD** regulations. You’ll navigate the **RMF lifecycle**, develop security documentation, conduct **risk assessments**, and help ensure our systems meet high standards of security and compliance. **Work Model**: Hybrid schedule; based out of any Dark Wolf Office location. --- ## Key Responsibilities - Coordinate with the **COTR** and Sponsor staff to focus on overall technical and operational effectiveness of capabilities. - Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of processes and architectures supporting cyber defense operations (including analysis, incident handling/reporting products, and the reporting lifecycle). - Ensure effective operations of Agency IT systems and network defenses, including incident response capabilities and reports that support situational awareness. - Maximize existing tools to correlate information and synthesize data into actionable events. - Identify and help automate manual/inefficient processes across the cyber defense program; partner with the Sponsor to recommend and implement technical solutions that return time to mission. --- ## Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering**, or a related technical field - **5+ years** of relevant experience - Experience with **security risk assessment and management** in cloud environments (**GCP preferred**) - Experience building **authorization packages** - **US Citizenship required with an active Secret clearance** --- ## Compensation Estimated **$120,000–$150,000** (commensurate with experience). --- **EEO/AA Statement**: Dark Wolf Solutions is an EEO/AA employer (Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories).
