We recently raised a **$350M** funding round at a **$4B valuation** led by **Andreessen Horowitz (a16z)** and **Bessemer Venture Partners** to accelerate this mission. --- ## About the Role We’re looking for a **Full Stack Software Engineer** to be the **first dedicated full stack hire on the healthcare team**. You’ll play a foundational role in shaping both the **product** and the **technical architecture**. This is not about executing a predefined roadmap—it’s about **creating it**. You’ll work across the stack and across functions to identify what we need to build, why it matters, and how to make it happen. You should be excited to **own projects end-to-end**, make **foundational backend decisions**, and drive features from **zero to launch** with minimal oversight. --- ## Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and operations to design and build **user-facing features** and **internal tools** - Own development and launch of new products, working directly with clients to gather feedback and iterate quickly - Build intuitive, high-quality front-end experiences for complex workflows with a strong focus on **usability** - Make key backend design decisions: **API design**, **data modeling**, and **service architecture** - Develop modular, reusable components and systems to support **scalability** and **maintainability** - Help shape the team’s technical culture through best practices, code quality, and thoughtful architecture --- ## Requirements - **3+ years** building production software (frontend + backend) - Strong proficiency with **JavaScript**, **TypeScript**, and **React** - Strong UX instincts and passion for building great UX - Experience building, maintaining, and monitoring **APIs** - Startup mentality: ownership, urgency, and high-quality output - Great at solving problems with little guidance; strong bias for action - Ability to work **in person 5 days/week** at our office --- ## Nice to Have - **2+ years** Python experience - **AWS** experience - Experience with **relational databases** --- ## Why Join This is a chance to join the ground floor of a fast-scaling, well-funded startup—where you’ll be **writing the playbook**, not following one.
