Our long-term goal is to build a better financial system. **Products** - **Phoenix Perpetuals**: professional-grade perpetual futures on **Solana** - **SolFi**: proprietary automated market maker providing efficient liquidity for key trading pairs - **Phoenix Legacy**: a limit order book on **Solana** Together, these products have facilitated **$285B+** in trading volume across Solana markets. ### What you’ll do - Build and maintain **scalable production services** (currently supporting thousands of QPS; future systems must handle at least **10x**) - Implement systems to **monitor performance** at the **micro- and nano-second** level - Lead ambitious engineering initiatives end-to-end: **specification, architecture, implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance** (e.g., real-time data indexing at scale) ### Qualifications (required) - **3+ years** building and maintaining **production-grade** software systems (preferably **Rust, C++, C, or Go**), with high-quality, well-documented code - **3+ years** experience with **Unix systems** - Experience with **cloud infrastructure**, preferably **AWS** - Ability to make informed engineering decisions based on **business context** - Demonstrated **high agency**: willingness to dive into unfamiliar technical and non-technical areas; **team-first** attitude - Passion for **decentralized finance** ### Preferred - Experience with **blockchain technology**, specifically **Solana** - Experience in **quant trading** or **fintech** - Proficiency in **Rust**
