## Summer Internship Program 2027 — Release Engineering Intern ### Overview The ICE Internship Program offers a dynamic opportunity to combine hands-on, impactful work on projects that shape our business with practical career and professional development. Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, interns participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders, connect with fellow interns, and deepen their understanding of the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries. ### What You’ll Do - Analyze ServiceNow and Jira ticket history to identify recurring, manual-effort issues that are good candidates for automation - Build a working automation, script, or self-service tool for at least one high-volume ticket type - Help build and maintain software build and release processes with a focus on self-service and developer enablement - Support release tracking and day-to-day ticket triage, and document runbooks and known issues - Participate in standups, planning, and retrospectives; collaborate with engineering, QA, and support teams to refine tools based on real feedback - Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned ### Qualifications - Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and advancing to at least your junior year - Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field - Basic understanding of Git and scripting in Python or Bash - Exposure to CI/CD, ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow), or Windows/Unix platforms is a plus (not required) - Strong written and oral communication skills - Curiosity about why processes are inefficient ### Internship Program Schedule To accommodate varying academic calendars, the program offers two schedule options: - **Option 1:** May 24, 2027 – August 6, 2027 - **Option 2:** June 7, 2027 – August 20, 2027 **Note:** Interns must be available to work full-time, five days a week, at the **Jacksonville office** for the entire duration of one of the designated program schedules.
