**Container Infrastructure Engineer** ## About the role At Accenture Federal Services, you’ll help enhance the feature set of our OpenShift platform by installing, maintaining, and operationalizing OpenShift Operators. You’ll also support auxiliary systems essential to running OpenShift—such as logging, service mesh, and monitoring/observability tools. Automation is a core value for the team. You’ll be part of the infrastructure team advancing our automation agenda, and may also assist with DevSecOps automation and enhancements while partnering with App Dev teams. ## What you’ll do - Install, maintain, and operationalize OpenShift Operators - Support OpenShift ecosystem components (logging, service mesh, monitoring/observability) - Contribute to DevSecOps automation and enhancements - Triage and troubleshoot platform issues - Develop automation tools/scripts - Work closely with Kubernetes/OpenShift-focused infrastructure and CI/CD tooling ## What you bring - Enjoy triage/troubleshooting and building automation tools/scripts - Strong affinity toward Kubernetes - Familiarity with AWS tools/services - Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift - Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) - Knowledge of eventing frameworks - Basic coding/scripting skills (Java, Shell/Bash, Python) ## Basic requirements - 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes or containers or Docker - Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and AWS - Experience with topics such as: Java (OOP), Linux, Bash scripting, CI/CD, DevSecOps principles, SRE, observability, eventing/Kafka, containerization/Docker - Bachelor’s degree (preference in computer science or computer engineering) ## Bonus points - Client/production OpenShift experience - Passed (or in the process of obtaining) the Red Hat Certified Administrator Exam (EX280) ## Pay range (where applicable) Base pay range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia: **$94,400 – $112,500 USD** ## Apply Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis (no fixed deadline).
