**Software Engineer, AML** **Company:** Social Finance, LLC (SoFi) **Location:** Seattle, WA (Hybrid). Part-time telecommuting option. --- ## Job Duties - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, architect, and implement end-to-end solutions (frontend + backend). - Use expertise across programming languages, frameworks, and technologies to deliver scalable, high-quality software. - Partner with senior engineers in the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) function to translate business needs into solutions, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization. - **Backend development:** Build robust, scalable, secure server-side applications and APIs. - Work with databases and data models; build and maintain scalable data pipelines. - Optimize performance and maintain system stability. - Participate in architecture discussions and follow software design patterns and best practices. - Perform thorough testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure reliability. --- ## Requirements - Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline. - 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. --- ## Special Skill Requirements - Java, Python, AWS - Agile Development Methodology - Test-Driven Development (TDD) - SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) - CI/CD Pipelines - Jira - GitHub/GitLab (or other source control) - Spring Boot - React - SQL - Data Structures - JavaScript - Design Patterns - Operating Systems - Microservices - Docker --- ## Compensation - **$165,000.00 – $181,500.00 per year** + standard company benefits. --- ## Apply Submit your resume with references using the apply button on the posting, or email **jobadverts@sofi.org** (Req. # 1014.27.2). #LI-DNI
