At Ivanti, you’ll help deliver reliable, innovative solutions in a dynamic, empowering environment. --- ## Why We Need You Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) partners closely with Product Engineering, Security, and Support. You’ll help ensure the reliability, deployment, and continuous operation of Ivanti Cloud services—taking the platform to the next level with **observability, release automation, chaos engineering, and more**. This is a hands-on role blending infrastructure, networking, operating systems, automation, development, and application administration. You’ll solve operational challenges through automation and software, with the ability to deep-dive into code, app servers, databases, load balancers, OS, and networks. --- ## What You Will Be Doing - **Work authorization:** US citizenship and must be located domestically in the U.S. - **Schedule:** 4 × 10-hour days (Saturday night to Wednesday morning), approximately **10 PM–9 AM PT** (including lunch) - Deploy, manage, and secure Ivanti’s **production SaaS** environments in **AWS and Azure** - Collaborate with geographically dispersed, cross-departmental teams to solve difficult problems - Automate common and repetitive tasks - Write documentation and training materials - Train other colleagues - Participate in **24×7 on-call rotations** (follow-the-sun) for incident response, issue triage, and problem resolution --- ## What You Will Bring - **US citizenship:** must be located domestically in the U.S. - **Education:** BSc in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience - **Experience:** 3+ years relevant industry experience (2+ with an achieved BSc in Computer Science or equivalent) - **Programming:** Proficiency with **Python** and experience with one of: - Java - Golang - C# - Proficiency with **Bash or PowerShell** programmatically - Familiarity with **AWS or Azure** - Experience troubleshooting **Java and .NET** applications - Experience troubleshooting **network and storage infrastructure** issues - Experience with core **Linux** distributions (Debian, RHEL, SUSE, Slackware) - Experience working with **Windows** - Experience with one or more: **SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch** (or similar) - Ability to configure and fine-tune at least one: **HAProxy, Apache, Nginx, IIS** (or similar) - Ability to configure: **New Relic, Datadog, Splunk** (or similar monitoring tools) - Familiarity with container orchestration (e.g., **AWS EKS** or **Azure AKS**) - Experience with deployment pipeline tools such as **Ansible, Jenkins, and/or GitHub Actions** - Proficiency working and developing **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** - Desire to adopt and implement emergent technologies and best practices - Strong verbal and written communication skills in **English** ### Nice-to-haves - Prior experience as a **Site Reliability Engineer** or **DevOps Engineer** - Certificates (or equivalent knowledge) in areas such as: - Cloud development & architecture - Kubernetes administration - Linux administration - Software engineering disciplines - Experience with compliance frameworks such as **SOC 2 Type 2, ISO-27001, FedRAMP, IRAP** and privacy regulations such as **GDPR** and **PIPEDA** --- ## Why Ivanti - **Friendly, flexible w
