**Machine Learning Engineer** **Project / Team Overview** Join a team supporting a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. These products capture information and approvals to enable compliant movement of data through the customer mission space—standardizing and simplifying data movement, reuse, and integration with downstream tools. **Responsibilities** - Design, create, test, and productize AI/ML algorithms to solve business challenges - Build models that learn and make predictions based on business logic and customer requirements - Own model architecture, data pipeline integration, metrics, interpretation, and presentation - Support training, retraining, deployment, scheduling, monitoring, and continuous improvement using iterative user/system feedback - Lead geographically diverse teams and serve as a primary point of contact for AI-related matters - Apply exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills **Highly Desired Skills** - Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages: Python, Java, C++, R - Jupyter notebooks - PyTorch or TensorFlow - Generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) - Agent orchestration - RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) - AWS Bedrock **Basic Qualifications** - Active TS/SCI with current Polygraph required - 2+ years of experience in applied machine learning in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity - Bachelor’s degree in advanced math (e.g., Calculus, Linear Algebra, Bayesian statistics), Computer Science, or related STEM field - 3+ years of additional machine learning experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree **Benefits (Highlights)** - Heavily subsidized employee benefits for you and your dependents - 25 days of PTO accrued annually (up to a generous cap) - Eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan **Target Salary Range** - **$135,000 – $216,000** (varies based on factors including experience, education, location, and contract considerations) **EEO** Equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veterans, or other characteristics protected by law.
