## Eloquent AI — Software Engineer, Front-End ### About the role At Eloquent AI, we’re building the next generation of **AI Operators**—multimodal, autonomous systems that execute complex workflows across fragmented tools with human-level precision. Our technology goes beyond chat: it can **see, read, click, type, and make decisions**, transforming how work gets done in **regulated, high-stakes environments**. As a **Front-End Engineer**, you’ll shape the interfaces that connect humans and AI. You’ll collaborate with product designers, AI engineers, and backend developers to build **clean, fast, intuitive UIs** for AI agents and dashboards. ### You will - Build **beautiful, performant UIs** that make AI-powered tools intuitive and powerful for enterprise users. - Work on **CUI (Conversational User Interface)** design, **agent dashboards**, and **visualization tools** that clearly communicate complex AI outputs. - Collaborate cross-functionally with **design, backend, and ML** teams to turn product ideas into polished front-end implementations. - Create **modular, scalable components** with a strong foundation in **design systems** and **accessibility**. - Optimize for **performance and responsiveness** across browsers and devices. - Continuously iterate on **design and UX** through testing, feedback, and usage data. ### Requirements - **7+ years** of front-end development experience (preferably SaaS or AI-powered applications). - Proficiency in **React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS**. - Experience with **design systems** (e.g., Storybook, Figma handoff, Tailwind, or similar). - Strong **product and design sense**—you care about details, polish, and usability. - Familiarity with **component-driven development** and modern front-end tooling. - A **collaborative mindset** and comfort working with cross-functional teams. ### Bonus points - Built interfaces for **AI** or **data-intensive** applications. - Experience with **real-time systems** or dynamic visualizations (charts, streaming data). - Worked in a **startup** or fast-paced product environment. - Experience with **CUI**, voice, or chat-based UX. - Comfortable working across the stack or contributing to **backend APIs**.
