Founded by former executives from **Google, Coinbase, Flipkart, and Okta**, and backed by leading investors. ## About the Role (IT Engineer) As Ema scales, our corporate IT environment (tools, access, devices, and compliance) has outgrown an ownership-by-default model. We’re hiring an **IT Engineer** to own it end to end. This is **not** a traditional helpdesk role. Since we’re an agentic AI company, we expect our internal operations to reflect that—by **systematically automating** corporate IT using agentic tooling and reducing manual work over time. **Success looks like:** after a year, **as little as possible remains manual**, and every employee’s experience is excellent. ## What You’ll Do - **Agentic Workflows & Automation:** Identify recurring manual tasks and turn them into autonomous workflows using AI coding tools. - **Automated Identity & Access:** Automate global onboarding and access lifecycle processes (e.g., **Okta/SCIM**, access reviews) from ticket-driven to policy-driven. - **SaaS Lifecycle Automation:** Maintain tool inventories, track utilization, and automatically reclaim unused licenses. - **Automated Endpoint Security:** Manage **MDM** and automate OS patching, encryption baselines, and continuous drift detection. - **Automated Compliance & Security:** Continuously generate audit evidence for **SOC 2**, **ISO 27001**, and AI governance frameworks. - **Operational Excellence:** Standardize IT runbooks, manage integration registries, and deliver Tier 1/2 support with defined SLAs. - **Advise Finance & HR:** Serve as the in-house expert for tool/subscription administration issues (access, licensing, renewals, billing). ## What We’re Looking For - **Automation instinct & agentic tools:** Strong drive to eliminate repetitive work using **AI coding tools**, **Python/Bash**, and **API integrations**. - **IT & Security operations:** **0–2 years** managing Cloud/SaaS infrastructure, **Okta/IdP**, **Google Workspace**, and **MDM** platforms. - **Security & process discipline:** Strict adherence to security protocols, strong documentation habits, and good judgment around compliance risks. - **Communication & documentation:** Exceptional clarity in technical writing and verbal communication; you’ll be a primary interface for internal stakeholders. ## Why Ema? - **Pioneer agentic AI:** Build at the frontier of technology to drive enterprise-wide evolution. - **End-to-end platform ownership:** Help scale mission-critical infrastructure. - **High-density engineering talent:** Work with a lean team of researchers and product builders. ## Compensation & Equal Opportunity Compensation depends on factors like location, level, and experience.
