Trusted by 170+ P&C Carriers, MGAs, MGUs, TPAs, and logistics companies. --- ## Role Overview Join Snapsheet’s **Workflows** team to help evolve an industry-leading claims engine. The Workflows team builds the platform that powers automation using configurable stages, event handlers, and scheduled system actions. In this role, you’ll design and build **distributed systems** and **RESTful APIs** that: - Handle high volumes of events - Manage complex data relationships - Coordinate automated processes across products --- ## What We’re Looking For - **BS** in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field - **5+ years** of full-stack web development experience - Experience designing and building **APIs** - Ability to design **schemas** and **performant queries** for relational databases - Understanding of **scalability** and **server-side performance** challenges - Prior experience with **React and/or TypeScript** (plus) - Prior experience with **Ruby on Rails** (plus) - Experience with **AI tools / AI-assisted software development (AI SDLC)** (plus) - Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a team - Commitment to quality and building cutting-edge solutions - Ability to manage tasks and contribute to multiple initiatives during a sprint --- ## Tech Stack - **Frameworks:** Ruby on Rails, React - **Methodology:** Agile - **Infrastructure:** MySQL, S3, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Lambda, Docker, CloudFront --- ## Compensation & Benefits **Base salary range:** **$135,000 – $165,000** (based on experience, skills, and location) **Benefits include:** - Medical, dental, and vision plans - HSA contribution (with high-deductible plan) - Company-paid Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance - 401(k) with **4% company match** - Flexible PTO and **7.5 company-observed holidays** - EAP (6 sessions per life incident) - Additional voluntary benefits (Accident, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, Legal Assistance) - Wellness and growth opportunities, plus in-person connection points --- ## Notes for Applicants - Snapsheet is **unable to sponsor work visas** for this position at this time. - They are currently unable to accept applications from: **Alaska, California, Hawaii, Montana, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wyoming**. - If you don’t meet every requirement, they still encourage you to apply. - Reasonable accommodations are available—contact them if you need assistance. --- **#BI-Remote #LI-Remote**
