You’ll join a fast-moving team of builders, researchers, and operators focused on helping customers create, measure, and continuously improve AI capabilities they can own and control. **About the Role** We’re seeking a **Member of Technical Staff, Forward Deployed Engineer** to work directly with enterprise customers—building a deep understanding of their businesses and workflows, and translating operational needs into production-grade AI solutions. This is a **remote, United States-based** role combining software engineering, AI development, solution design, and customer engagement. You’ll work inside customer environments as part of a small deployment team, owning the full technical lifecycle—from defining the problem and building data pipelines to designing evaluations, deploying AI agents, and iterating against measurable goals. **Travel to customer locations will be required as needed.** **Responsibilities** - Work directly with enterprise customer teams to understand their businesses, operating environments, and workflows. - Translate real operational needs into clearly defined, AI-driven solutions. - Own the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and improvement of production-grade AI agents tailored to customer-specific problems. - Build the data pipelines, integrations, and supporting systems required to deploy AI solutions within customer environments. - Develop evaluation systems that measure agent performance and use results to drive continued improvement. - Translate complex business requirements into technical architectures, implementation plans, and measurable outcomes. - Develop deep expertise in customer domains and apply that knowledge to improve relevance and performance of the AI systems you build. - Partner closely with Product, Platform, Research, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable, cohesive solutions.
