This hands-on role combines DevOps engineering, Python automation, cloud infrastructure, and build/release engineering to improve reliability, reduce manual work, and help engineering teams deliver software efficiently. You’ll troubleshoot complex technical issues, automate repetitive processes, and support end-to-end development and deployment workflows in a collaborative, onsite engineering environment. **Responsibilities** - Design, build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines - Automate software build, testing, validation, packaging, deployment, and release processes - Develop Python scripts and automation tools to streamline engineering and operational workflows - Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure and development environments - Manage source control, branching strategies, build systems, artifact management, and release workflows - Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration automation - Manage software dependencies, environment configurations, credentials, secrets, and deployment settings - Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational health checks - Troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, infrastructure problems, networking, and environment configuration challenges - Improve system reliability, deployment consistency, release quality, and developer productivity through automation - Support containerized applications and deployment environments where applicable - Identify repetitive manual processes and develop automated solutions to improve engineering efficiency - Collaborate with software engineers and technical stakeholders to improve development, testing, and deployment workflows - Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides - Evaluate and implement tools and technologies that improve automation, infrastructure management, and engineering workflows **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field - 2+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, build engineering, or release engineering - Strong Python programming and scripting skills - Experience with Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platform - Experience with Git and modern source control workflows - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms - Understanding of software build, testing, deployment, and release processes - Experience troubleshooting infrastructure, build, deployment, and environment issues - Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating environments - Ability to independently investigate technical problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions
