You'll develop and customize **large-scale deep learning models** to solve specific customer problems — not just advise, but **build**. --- ### 🔧 Key Responsibilities **Customer Engagement** - Collaborate with stakeholders to scope AI solutions - Conduct feasibility analysis, data readiness assessments, and architecture selection - Define milestones, success metrics, and evaluation benchmarks **Model Development** - Design end-to-end training recipes for custom models - Implement continuous pre-training, SFT, RLHF, and DPO pipelines - Own full training pipelines: data preprocessing → hyperparameter tuning → loss analysis - Scale multi-billion parameter workloads across Cerebras clusters - Build agentic system components: tool-use, long-context reasoning, multi-step planning **Leadership & Collaboration** - Serve as AI/ML subject matter expert in customer deep-dives - Act as "voice of the customer" for internal R&D and engineering teams - Distill successful projects into internal playbooks --- ### ✅ Requirements - 🎓 Master's or PhD in CS, ML, or related field - 🏗️ Expert knowledge of transformers, MoEs, multimodal models, scaling laws - ⚙️ Proven experience training/fine-tuning models **1B+ parameters** - 🐍 Mastery of **Python & PyTorch**; distributed training frameworks - 🗣️ Strong communication skills across technical and executive audiences --- ### 🌟 Why Cerebras? - Build beyond GPU constraints on a **breakthrough AI platform** - Publish and open-source cutting-edge research - Work on one of the **fastest AI supercomputers** in the world - Startup energy with job stability - Simple, non-corporate culture that respects individual beliefs --- *Cerebras Systems is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.*
