We offer a dynamic, flexible work environment with competitive benefits and opportunities to grow your career. --- ## Team & Role Overview Verisign’s Resolution Engineering team is a high-performing Agile team that builds horizontally scalable, high-performance, and highly available systems. In this role, you will support the design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions in a collaborative Agile environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern software engineering practices, including software integration, vulnerability management, automated testing, and CI/CD pipeline development. --- ## The Person You will manage a newly formed **Resolution Release Team**, combining the Edge CI/CD Build and Monthly Product Release teams. This position focuses on existing build, integration, and deployment processes while continually automating them. You will lead the strategy to migrate common functions currently handled independently by product-specific teams (e.g., service and site health checks, regression test development) into a shared infrastructure for all products. You will also lead release prioritization, planning, coordination, and communication with the Resolution Operations Deployment team. You’ll participate in daily standups, grooming, and planning sessions, and take ownership of features from design through delivery. Successful engineering managers will work closely with team members to build a deep understanding of the hardware and software stack to make a positive impact on projects and team chemistry. --- ## What You’ll Bring ### Leadership & Delivery - A strong foundation in managing, mentoring, and developing a high-performance team - A track record of managing high-quality, impactful delivery - Enjoys breaking down tough problems and working with the team to deliver valuable solutions ### Engineering Best Practices - Passion for software development best practices such as automated testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and continuous delivery - A curious mindset and an agent for change—constantly learning and seeking better outcomes - Strong interpersonal skills to proactively mitigate key technical risks and ensure quality ### Development & Test Skills - Proven foundation in Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, object-oriented design) - Experience with behavior-driven testing frameworks such as **Python Behave** or **Cucumber** - Experience with data analysis using monitoring and analytical tools (e.g., **Hydra, Splunk, Snowflake**) ### Build, Integration & Deployment Skills - Experience with (or strong willingness to learn) infrastructure automation and platform engineering technologies such as **Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and OpenStack** - Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., **Jenkins, Groovy, GitHub**) - Familiarity with containerization tools such as **Docker** and **Kubernetes** - Awareness of how large-scale distributed systems are deployed and operated ### Developer Traits - Excellent team player in a collaborat
