## Software Engineering Intern — Summer 2027 Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company, we build and operate each layer of the stack—from electrons to tokens—to power the world’s most ambitious AI workloads. ### About the Role As a **Software Engineering Intern**, you’ll join a growing, diverse, mission-driven team building **new cloud infrastructure from the ground up** and working at the forefront of **distributed systems**. You’ll collaborate with engineers to: - Build and maintain **scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems** - Create **products and tools** used by customers worldwide - **Triage bugs** and solve issues in **production** - Work with product owners and stakeholders to iterate on new features ### What You’ll Be Working On Interns may be placed into one of these three organizations based on interest and business needs: **1) Product focused — Managed Cloud** - Build the parts of Crusoe Cloud customers actually use: **UI**, **CLI**, and **APIs** - Ship features used by real customers before your internship ends - Good fit if you like: **full-stack or backend web development** - Languages: **Go, TypeScript/React** **2) Systems focused — Cloud Availability** - Help keep tens of thousands of GPUs healthy - Build software that detects and fixes problems automatically (instead of waking someone up at 3am) - Replace manual work at real scale - Good fit if you like: **automation, scripting, and troubleshooting** - Languages: **Go, Python** **3) Infra focused — Cloud Infrastructure** - Build the layer everything else runs on: **compute, storage, networking** - Work with **Crusoe Managed Kubernetes** for running containers on GPUs - Range from **OS-level code** to **Kubernetes controllers/operators** - Good fit if you like: **operating systems, distributed systems, or Kubernetes** - Languages: **mostly Go** ### What You’ll Bring to the Team - **Education:** Currently pursuing a **Bachelor’s or Master’s** in CS/Engineering (preferably graduating **Fall 2027–Spring 2028**) - **Programming:** Familiar with languages such as **Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Rust, Go**, etc. - **Foundational Knowledge:** CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms) - **Collaboration:** Proactive communicator who enjoys working closely with a team - **Problem-Solving:** Curious, analytical, strong troubleshooting and optimization skills ### Internship Program - **12-week, in-person** program - **High-impact work** + **one-on-one mentorship** + direct access to leaders - Designed to support professional growth and help you build connections ### 2027 Summer Internship Dates (choose one cohort) - **May 24 – August 13, 2027** - **June 14 – September 3, 2027** ### Benefits - **$49/hour** compensation - One-time **housing stipend** - Access to **HealthiestYou** and **Calm** - **Paid holiday and volunteer days** - **Commuter allowance** ### Visa Crusoe is **not sponsoring visas** for these positions at this time or in the future. ### Equal Opportunity Employer Crusoe is an **Equal Opportunity Employer**.
