## Overview AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through strategic solutions in Information Technology, Engineering & Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training. ## Responsibilities - Participate in cybersecurity assessments, including residual risk analysis and compiling Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation for DoW IT artifacts. - Research and recommend cybersecurity architectures and procedures. - Provide advanced systems administration and execute cybersecurity vulnerability testing in mixed network environments. - Support technical meetings and provide cybersecurity services and systems administration for military tactical/non-tactical environments, Electronics Support Measures (ESM) suites, and relational database applications. - Provide input to monthly cybersecurity analysis reports. - **This position is 100% on-site.** ## Qualifications - Bachelor of Science degree in an Information Technology field **or** 3 years of military IT experience. - DoD 8570.1-M Cybersecurity Technician Level II or III certifications (examples: CompTIA Security+/Network+, CISSP, and operating systems certification such as Microsoft Technology Professional, CompTIA Linux+, and Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA)). - Ability to obtain a **Secret** security clearance. - **U.S. Citizenship required** for purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance. - At least **3+ years** experience in cybersecurity, RMF, and/or IT/networks. - Familiarity with **Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMass)**. - Familiarity with information systems vulnerability scanning tools, e.g.: - DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) - Assured Compliance Assessment Reports (ACAR) - Security Readiness Review (SRR) scripts and implementation - Experience with MS Windows 10 and Server operating systems, and UNIX/Linux (including Solaris), VMware, real-time operating systems, routers, and embedded processor networking environments. ## Pay Transparency - Salary range: **USD $58,800.00/yr – USD $90,000.00/yr** - Actual compensation will be determined based on factors permitted by law. ## Benefits AMERICAN SYSTEMS provides a comprehensive benefits program, including healthcare benefits, paid leave, retirement plans, insurance programs, and education/training assistance. ## Equal Employment Opportunity EEO Race/Sex/Disability Status/Veteran Status
