About this role
**Penetration Tester (Mid)** **Who you’ll be** Join Accenture Federal Services as a Penetration Testing Specialist, supporting the Agency’s information systems through security and compliance assessments. You’ll perform specialized wireless, RF, and mobile application assessments, and help with Security Controls Assessments, Adversarial Assessments, and FISMA requirements. This role requires nationwide travel to Agency facilities. **What you’ll do** - Perform penetration testing as requested by Components/System Owners/ISSM/ISSO, including preparing Rules of Engagement (ROE) for Government approval. - Deliver detailed findings and recommendations reports; support remediation and retesting efforts. - Conduct wireless access point and RF assessments across Agency sites while maintaining a travel/assessment schedule. - Perform mobile application assessments and Non-Tier 1 High Value Asset (HVA) assessments; generate reports per CISA-prescribed format. - Support Adversarial Assessments, including Cyber Table-Top (CTT) scenarios and Cooperative Vulnerability Penetration Assessments (CVPA). - Collaborate with SOC/CTI/CDF teams to emulate and discover Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and Common Weakness Enumerations (CWEs). - Travel domestically and internationally as needed for onsite security assessments. - Maintain a repository and track metrics of past penetration tests; contribute to annual ISSO training about VAT services and capabilities. **What you’ll need** - 5 years of professional experience in penetration testing and offensive security assessment, **or** a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field with 5 years of experience. - Hands-on experience with penetration testing methodologies, wireless/RF assessment tools, mobile application security testing, and CISA HVA assessment procedures. **Nice to have** - OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) - GPEN (GIAC Penetration Tester) - CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) **Compensation (where applicable)** - Base pay range: **$81,000 – $162,400 USD** (for the listed states and DC) *Note: This posting includes additional employment statements and benefits information not fully reproduced here.*
