## Quora — Full Stack Software Engineer (New Grad) | Remote (US/Canada) **About Quora** Quora is a remote-first company with a mission to grow the world’s collective intelligence. Quora’s products include **Quora** (knowledge sharing) and **Poe** (a cloud workspace for AI agents). **Role Overview (Quora Core Product Team)** You’ll help build and evolve the Quora product experience for millions of users—improving engagement, growth, content quality/moderation, and the creator experience. You’ll work at the intersection of **software development, design, and data science**. --- ## What You’ll Do - Develop **full stack applications** using **Python** and **React** - Build features that drive **user engagement and growth**, including **AI-powered content** and **moderation** improvements - Use **data and experimentation** to iterate and measure impact - Drive projects from **ideation to production** across the full technology stack - Collaborate with **designers, product managers, engineers, and data scientists** - Participate in the team’s **on-call rotation** to maintain reliability and quality --- ## Minimum Requirements - Availability for meetings during Quora’s **coordination hours** (Mon–Fri, **9am–3pm Pacific Time**) - A **2025 or 2026** graduate (or currently pursuing) a **B.S., M.S., or Ph.D.** in CS, Engineering, or related field - Foundational understanding of **data structures, algorithms, and software design** - Experience with **Python** (or ability to learn quickly) - Passion for continuous learning and improvement --- ## Preferred Qualifications - Prior software engineering experience (internship/work/coding competitions) - Familiarity with **Python, React, TypeScript, and/or SQL** - Interest in **Quora’s mission** - Curiosity about **AI** and hands-on experience exploring/building AI-powered projects --- ## Location / Eligibility - This role can be performed **remotely from anywhere in the US or Canada** - Employment eligibility details: https://careers.quora.com/eligible-countries --- ## Compensation (Summary) - **US candidates only:** $97,600–$139,000 USD + equity + benefits - **Canada candidates only:** - Toronto/Vancouver: $125,320–$142,783 CAD + equity + benefits - Other Canada locations: $116,965–$133,264 CAD + equity + benefits --- ## Additional Notes - Applications are accepted on an **ongoing basis** (this role is a **backfill**) - Quora offers benefits including medical/dental/vision, equity refreshers, remote work reimbursement, paid time off, and more (country-specific) - Identity verification and background checks are required for final candidates **Apply / Reference:** #LI-REMOTE
