## Systems Administrator/Engineer (O&M) ### Responsibilities - Monitor system health and troubleshoot system problems - Maintain storage systems - Coordinate with other team members for hardware, network, and infrastructure support - Provide after-hours on-call/call-in support on a rotational basis - Ensure system security requirements are satisfied - Create and maintain system scripts - Patch and upgrade systems - Administer user accounts ### Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience **OR** Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience - Additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement - Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph - Active Security+ certification - Experience managing systems in AWS - Experience managing and monitoring large clusters (>400 nodes) and containerized applications - Experience with Linux-based hardware platforms - Ability to work with OpenSource (NoSQL) products - Must be able to work **Full-Time, Onsite** (No Remote/Hybrid) ### Desired Qualifications - Knowledge/experience with distributed storage networks, routing, and application messaging frameworks - Experience provisioning and sustaining network infrastructures - Experience developing operations/management networks for secure PKI, IPSEC, or VPN-enabled environments - Experience with NiFi, HA Proxy, Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, and Elasticsearch - Experience with Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) - Experience with Certification & Accreditation ### Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that delivers trusted solutions and enterprise IT services for missions of consequence across the globe. ### Target Salary Range **$104,000 - $166,000** (typical range). Final compensation depends on factors including scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, location, and contract considerations.
