Senior Director of Implementation
Doctronic · New York City
About this role
**Senior Director of Implementation** **About Doctronic** Doctronic is the #1 AI doctor. Our AI is free, anonymous, and HIPAA-compliant, and it has delivered over 30 million consults to date. In December 2025, we became the first and only AI legally authorized to practice medicine—renewing prescriptions autonomously under Utah’s AI Learning Lab—and the first AI ever granted medical malpractice insurance. We’re live in all 50 states and DC with AI and human physicians available 24/7, and we’ve raised $65M through our Series B from Abstract, Lightspeed, Union Square Ventures, and others. We’re building the enterprise organization that takes this to health plans, health systems, and the wider healthcare ecosystem. --- ## The Role This role owns everything that happens **after a partner signs**. Every signed partnership must go live **on time**, **at quality**, and **without engineering heroics**. You’ll build the delivery “pods,” create a repeatable launch process, and **own the launch date**. Your primary metric is **on-time launch rate**, with a target of moving signature to go-live in **under 60 days**. You’ll report to the **Chief Business Officer** and lead a team of deployment strategists and solutions engineers, growing to **three pods**. You’ll also serve as the **escalation path for partners** (so issues don’t default to engineering). --- ## What You’ll Do - Own the launch of every enterprise partnership from **signature to go-live**, including: - Co-branded deployments - Embedded chat - API integrations - Build and lead **delivery pods**, pairing: - A deployment strategist (plan + partner relationship) - 1–2 solutions engineers - Own the **requirements document** and hold the line on **scope** (new requests go to deal desk/product—not into the build) - Own the **technical service level agreement (SLA)** and delivery commitments in every statement of work (including before signature) - Stand up the **launch playbook**: - Internal kickoff at 80% closed - External kickoff - Build, QA, clinical readiness - Go-live - 30-day retro - Run the **handoff from sales** and ensure partners aren’t walked into kickoff without reading the statement of work - Partner with the **Enterprise Product Lead** on bespoke vs. platform decisions, and drive upward the share of partner requirements met with existing product each quarter - Own the **reuse verdict** after each launch: template it, productize it, or retire it - Be the escalation path so engineering can build instead of firefighting --- ## What We’re Looking For - **8+ years** in implementation, professional services, technical program management, or solutions delivery, including **3+ years managing people** - Delivered technical integrations into **regulated enterprises** (health systems, payers, pharmacy, or financial services) - Technically fluent in: - APIs, webhooks, SSO - Healthcare data standards such as **FHIR** - Comfortable holding your own with engineers - Has told a customer **no** and kept the relationship (most important) - Built process where none existed (not just administered someone else’s process) - Writes clearly and runs meetings well—communication failures are a key failure mode in this role - Based in **New York City** or willing to relocate (hybrid) --- ## Nice to Have - FHIR R4, HL7, or direct Epic/Cerner integration experience - Experience running a pod/squad/forward-deployed engineering model - Telehealth or clinical workflow deli
