## Clarity Innovations — Sr. Principal Platform Engineer ### About the Role Clarity Innovations is seeking a **Cloud Architect** to design and guide the cloud and hybrid infrastructure supporting the team’s **AI platform** and **DAG mission capabilities**. You will ensure the technical environment is **scalable, resilient, secure, cost-effective**, and aligned with the sponsor’s **enterprise architecture** and operating environment. You will collaborate closely with: - **AI/ML Architect** to deploy and scale AI workloads efficiently - **Platform Engineer** to operationalize infrastructure through automation - **Security Engineer** to meet **classified-environment** security requirements You will also evaluate **COTS/FOSS** and government enterprise services, and establish **reusable infrastructure patterns** that support continuous delivery. ### Technical Skills - Cloud architecture - **AWS, Azure, and/or other government cloud environments** - **Kubernetes** - Containerized architectures - Cloud-native application architecture - **Infrastructure as Code** (e.g., **Terraform**) - Networking (e.g., **VPC/VNet architecture**) - Identity and access management - Storage architectures - Compute architecture - High availability - Disaster recovery - Scalability and performance engineering - Cloud security - **Zero Trust architectures** - Infrastructure automation - **CI/CD** - Observability - Cloud cost optimization / **FinOps** - Hybrid cloud - On-premises/cloud integration - COTS/FOSS evaluation ### Salary Range **$144,000 – $324,000**
