By unifying **Digital Risk Protection**, **Human Risk Management**, and **Email Security**, Doppel connects threats into a real-time intelligence graph to enable faster disruption and modern security awareness at scale. ### What we’re building We’re building an AI-native social engineering defense platform that: - Monitors **billions of domains, social media accounts, apps, and dark web forums** - Uses **AI agents** to identify and neutralize digital threats ### What you’ll do (Forward Deployed Engineering / FDE) Doppel’s **Forward Deployed Engineering** team owns onboarding of our biggest enterprise customers in an effective, low-touch way. You’ll work directly with large enterprise customers alongside **GTM and Product** to understand onboarding needs, scope and prioritize technical solutions, and build end-to-end systems that integrate customers with Doppel’s core offerings. You’ll also lead the technical direction of the FDE team while staying hands-on with the hardest integrations and most strategic deployments. **Key responsibilities:** - **Lead FDE technically**: set technical direction, mentor engineers, unblock complex projects, and raise the engineering bar while remaining hands-on - **Own strategic deployments**: from technical discovery through production rollout—identify onboarding friction, scope solutions, and drive engineering work to go live - **Build end-to-end solutions**: architect, build, and debug across APIs, webhooks, SIEM/SOAR platforms, identity systems, email infrastructure, and the broader enterprise security stack - **Turn field work into product**: identify patterns across deployments and convert bespoke solutions into reusable capabilities - **Make deployments scalable**: build systems, automation, and internal tooling to make each new customer faster to launch - **Shape the product from the field**: create a tight feedback loop between customers, GTM, Product, and Engineering - **Define FDE technical boundaries**: decide what FDE should build vs. graduate into core product/platform vs. partner with other teams ### What we’re looking for - **Strong software engineering foundation**: 6+ years building and shipping production software; strong technical depth for architecture decisions and direct code contributions - **Technical leadership experience**: set direction, mentor engineers, and drive complex projects while staying hands-on - **Customer-facing technical depth**: work directly with complex enterprise customers; turn ambiguous problems into scoped production systems - **Enterprise systems experience**: APIs, webhooks, identity/authentication (**OAuth, SAML, SCIM**), and enterprise infrastructure; SIEM/SOAR experience is a plus - **Product instincts**: recognize when something should be customer-specific vs. reusable - **High agency in ambiguity**: cut through blockers, pull in the right stakeholders, and move problems from ambiguity to production - **Strong technical judgment & communication**: move between customer calls, system design, debuggi
