Companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens use Watershed to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting (including CSRD), and drive real decarbonization. ## The Role — IT Engineer As an IT Engineer at Watershed, you’ll own internal technology and SaaS platforms that support teams across global offices. You’ll help define what modern IT looks like—especially as AI becomes woven into day-to-day work—while designing agent-driven workflows, integrations, and self-service resources that reduce toil and improve the employee experience. **Location:** San Francisco office (4 days/week in-office) ## You Will - Design and implement scalable IT solutions to improve employee productivity and security across global offices - Manage and maintain core IT systems, including **Okta, Kolide, Iru (formerly Kandji), Google Workspace, Notion, and Slack** - Develop and optimize global asset management processes for employee devices across their lifecycle - Build and maintain automations and integrations across IT systems to reduce repetitive work in onboarding, access management, device operations, and support - Own and improve onboarding, role change, and offboarding lifecycle processes (provisioning, access controls, automation, and device workflows) in partnership with People and Security - Partner with Security, People, Workplace, Engineering, and an external IT support provider to deliver reliable services and a thoughtful employee experience - Serve as an escalation point for elevated hardware, software, and network issues, plus occasional in-person support in San Francisco - Maintain a secure, reliable **macOS** fleet (provisioning, configuration, patching, endpoint protection, compliance monitoring) - Manage and optimize conference room technology and A/V systems - Turn recurring issues into lasting improvements via root-cause analysis, clear runbooks, employee-facing guidance, and self-service tools; maintain IT policies and procedures - Use AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, scripting, and documentation
