We’re in the early stages of deploying our robotaxis on public roads—an exciting time to join Zoox and make a significant impact. ## Team The **ML Platform** team plays a crucial role in enabling innovations in large-scale **Foundation models, VLMs, and VLAs** to make autonomous driving as seamless as possible. ## The Opportunity Are you excited to drive **ML Performance Optimization** initiatives and make ML models for autonomous driving **faster and more efficient**? In this role, you’ll work with state-of-the-art accelerators and cutting-edge techniques including: - Distributed training - Quantization - Distillation - Pruning You’ll collaborate closely with Autonomy teams across: - Perception - Prediction - Planner - Simulation - Collision Avoidance ## What You’ll Do - Build and operate the **base layer of ML tools, model development, and serving systems** used by applied research teams for in- and off-vehicle ML use cases. - Partner with a team of strong software engineers and act as a **force multiplier** for internal customers. - Help push the boundaries of how ML is practiced at Zoox as we expand robotaxi deployments and enter new ML domains. ## Growth & Impact This team offers many growth opportunities as Zoox scales and broadens its ML efforts. *Note: The original posting references additional resources/links for Zoox’s stack and ML infrastructure talks.*
