About this role

## CoreWeave — Knowledge Architect, Fleet ### What you’ll do The Knowledge Architecture team at CoreWeave owns how Product and Engineering capture, structure, and share what they know. This role is a dedicated **Knowledge Architect for Fleet Engineering**, embedded with the team that brings CoreWeave’s fleet online. You’ll help ensure engineers who deliver GPU nodes to customers can find answers quickly and get productive fast—by building and maintaining internal documentation, onboarding content, and technical education programs, and by setting standards that keep knowledge accurate as the company scales. ### Fleet Reliability Operations (FROps) & FRO-OED - **Fleet Reliability Operations (FROps):** Owns day-to-day fleet health across regions (site bring-up/provisioning, troubleshooting, maintenance execution, incident response, escalations, and on-call coverage). - **FRO-OED (Onboarding, Education, and Documentation):** Owns how that knowledge is captured and taught—onboarding, educational programs, documentation standards in **FRO Confluence**, and prioritization of internal FROps projects. ### About the role As a Knowledge Architect for Fleet, you’ll: - Add dedicated documentation and onboarding capacity to an operationally critical org. - Assist with the audit and revamp of **Fleet Confluence** docs. - Write and maintain internal technical documentation for **FROps** and partner teams (systems documentation, workflows, runbooks, escalation guides, vocabulary). - Build and maintain onboarding content new operations engineers rely on in their first weeks in a region. You’ll work closely with operations engineers, operations managers, and Fleet Engineering SMEs to capture knowledge that currently lives in people’s heads, and you’ll own the **Confluence structure, navigation, and content lifecycle** to keep it findable. ### Key responsibilities - Help build and maintain the **FROps onboarding curriculum**, including role-based paths (operations engineers, quarterbacks, operations managers) and expand coverage to additional sub-teams/partners. - Develop measurements for onboarding effectiveness (e.g., time to productivity, new hire satisfaction) and iterate based on results. - Write, edit, and maintain internal technical documentation (systems docs, workflows, runbooks, escalation guides, reference materials like **FROps Vocabulary** and **Region Quirks**). - Partner with FRO-OED to define and apply documentation standards in **FRO Confluence**, aligned with KA templates and standards. - Capture undocumented or informally held knowledge (site bring-up patterns, incident learnings, tooling workflows). - Maintain knowledge assets in FRO and Fleet Confluence spaces (structure, navigation, labeling, templates, lifecycle) and consolidate duplicated/fragmented content. - Manage documentation requests through intake → scoping → delivery → publication, communicating scope, timelines, and status. - Run recurring audits for accuracy, coverage, and discoverability—prioritizing content used during on-call, incident response, and new site stand-up. - Escalate work requiring staff-level strategy/standards decisions and surface prioritization questions to FRO-OED leadership. ### Who you are - Experience writing and maintaining **technical documentation** for technical audiences (systems docs, runbooks, workflows, escalation guides, developer guides). Fleet experience is a plus. - Demonstrated ability to interview engineers/SMEs and convert insig
